He highlighted the specific challenges he faces in the mission, explaining that there has been a problem “in passing on the faith.”
Salesians Celebrate 21 Jubilarians

On Saturday, October 15, the Salesian Province of New Rochelle honored 21 confreres who have accumulated 1,045 years of religious profession or priestly ordination. The Eucharistic celebration took place at the Marian Shrine chapel in Haverstraw with the provincial, Fr. Timothy Zak, SDB, presiding and preaching and more than 200 Salesians, Salesian sisters, family members, and friends of the jubilarians participating.

From Saturday, October 15 to Sunday, October 23, Canadian peace activists are taking to the streets, demanding that the federal government #FundPeaceNotWar. This week of action, initiated by the U.S.-based United National Antiwar Coalition (UNAC), is championed in Canada by the Canada Peace and Justice Network, a coalition of 45 civil society organizations.
