Pope Francis marks the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of Saint Teresa of Ávila as a Doctor of the Church, and stresses her importance even today, especially in highlighting the role of women in the Church and in society.

The meeting of Montreal diocese confirmands, organized by the Office of Faith Education, was held at the end of March by Zoom – allowing all these young adults journeying in their faith to meet with each other and the Archbishop. Even in virtual mode, the Holy Spirit was present as always!

In the encyclical Fratelli tutti, Pope Francis tells us, "Life (…) is the art of encounter," and it was in this spirit of communion and universal fraternity that the Hispanic communities of the Diocese of Montreal came together to celebrate the Way of the Cross for migrants and refugees.
