As the Solemnity of Christ the King approaches, Mission Jeunesse Montréal invites young people and youth workers throughout the diocese to experience an unforgettable week of celebration, hope and communion.

For the VIII World Day of the Poor, Pope Francis has chosen a particularly significant motto for this year dedicated to prayer, given that the day will be celebrated shortly before the beginning of the Jubilee Year of 2025: “The prayer of the poor rises up to God” (cf Sir 21.5).

At the invitation of Pope Francis, young people worldwide are called to Rome for the Jubilee of 2025! This year’s theme centres on hope, uniting us around the belief that hope never disappoints.

This year’s Community Vitality Gathering offers a chance to hear firsthand from keynote Fr. Raymond Lafontaine, E.V., as he returns from a transformative six-month study sabbatical and his recent experiences at the October Synod in Rome.

Save the date of November 20 for Red Wednesday! Archbishop Christian Lépine will celebrate a special mass at 5 p.m. at Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral, accompanied by the Choir of Angels chorale.
