The Archdiocese of Montreal announces the appointment of Ms. Sandra Costa Lima as Diocesan Bursar.   

With over a decade of experience in financial management and administration, Ms. Costa Lima brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Previously serving as VP Finance and Administration in the construction sector, Ms. Costa Lima was responsible for overseeing financial operations, revenue growth, client relations, and managing administrative and human resources functions. Ms. Costa Lima's academic background, including a Certificate in Accounting from HEC where she is currently pursuing her studies and Business Management from UQAM, coupled with her extensive professional experience, equips her to excel in her responsibilities as the Diocesan Bursar for the Archdiocese of Montreal.  

In this key position with the Archdiocese of Montreal, Ms. Costa Lima will be responsible for managing the assets of the Diocese and will work directly with the directors of the Curia Offices and Services and the Council for Economic Affairs, managing the Diocese’s financial affairs. In addition, as head of Financial Administration, she will supervise the activities of the various departments reporting to her, including accounting, philanthropy, real estate, administrative services for the parishes and management of the Archdiocese.
