Archbishop Lépine Concludes Visitations with Priests of Cultural Communities
Montreal
Over the past few weeks, Archbishop Christian has held a series of five key meetings with priests serving Montreal's diverse and dynamic cultural communities. These discussions provided opportunities for dialogue, mutual understanding and reflection, focusing on the joys, hopes, and challenges of priestly ministry.
Reflecting on Montreal's diversity, Archbishop Lépine shared an inspiring message:
“Montreal is global—people from all continents come here. It’s a place where we can celebrate the richness of our own histories while embracing the richness of learning from one another.
We are called to live in communion, inspired by the Holy Trinity—the ultimate model of unity in diversity. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father; each has a distinct identity, yet they exist in perfect communion.
As a diocese, we must become ever more aware of our mission to build this communion among ourselves. I am deeply grateful for this morning's exchange, and I believe this is just the beginning.”
The Archdiocese extends heartfelt thanks to all priests for their unwavering service, generosity, and presence in the Montreal community. Together, let us continue to foster unity and communion within our diverse and dynamic diocese.
