On April 14, the Canadian Religious Conference is organizing a formation day with Sr. Nuala Kenny as keynote speaker. Rose DeAngelis and Lana McGeary from the West Island Palliative Care Residence will be the afternoon panelists.
Sister Nuala Kenny is also a medical doctor, O.C., M.D., F.R.C.P. Shortly after receiving her MD from Dalhousie University, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and was certified by the American Board of Paediatrics. Among her many accolades, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada for her contributions to child health and medical education and has received a Queen's Jubilee Medal.
In the afternoon a discussion panel will be hosted by Rose DeAngelis and Lana McGeary, Director Special Projects and Spiritual Care Counsellor at the West Island Palliative Care Residence (Kirkland, Quebec).
