One of the most cherished Filipino Christmas traditions, Simbang Gabi, is a nine-day novena of Masses from December 16 to 24, preparing for the birth of our Saviour. This year, the Filipino Catholic Mission of Montreal (Notre-Dame des Philippines) is honoured to welcome Archbishop Christian Lépine as he leads a special Simbang Gabi Mass on Sunday, December 15, at 7:00 PM.

To accommodate the cold weather and Christmas Eve preparations, this opening celebration will take place in the evening, a day earlier than usual.

We invite all parishes in the Archdiocese of Montreal Simbang Gabi to join us for this inaugural evening of the novena. While we understand many will have their own schedules, your presence would be a profound honour.
