During his November 20 general audience, which coincided with World Children's Day, Pope Francis announced that Blesseds Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati will be canonized in 2025.

On Dec. 12, communities across Canada are invited to join in prayer and reflection on the National Day of Prayer for Indigenous Peoples.

Pope Francis has published a note accompanying the Final Document of the Synod on Synodality, a text that captures the results of the two-year-long process initiated in October 2021 and concluded in October 2024.
