Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Deacon Dr. Richard Haber who died suddenly on Thursday, February 7, 2019, while on vacation in Mexico. He was 76 years old.

Deacon Haber was ordained to the permanent diaconate at St. Monica's Parish on June 17, 1984. His diaconal ministry spans almost 35 years, having served primarily at St. Monica's where he resided with his family. A pediatrician by profession, he also served on several Catholic health care committees.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Patty Ann, and their six children: Alexandria, Damian, Julian, Christopher, Daniel and Jennifer. He will also be dearly missed by his nine grandchildren.
