Why did Brian Boucher continue to wear his Roman collar during the trials. Personally, I found it offensive and made me wonder if he was hiding behind the collar. Thankfully, the judge saw beyond it.
Thanks to the diocese for taking action in what seem to be as soon as the abuse came to light. I pray for the victims of the abuse, and hope that they will get the help that they need to get through this. Justice has been served; and I hope that Boucher is put away for a very long time. He has left the survivors of his evil deed with a life sentence, and he deserves the same. If we cannot trust our priests, who can we trust? I would rather not have a priest than to have a corrupt one.. I also hope that he is never allowed to serve as a priest anywhere at all.
