Montreal

All the faithful are invited to join Archbishop Christian Lépine in celebrating the Diocesan Triduum for the feast of Christ, King of the Universe, which takes place November 23-24 at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral in Montreal.

For Archbishop Christian Lépine, this feast has a unique character: "it is the synthesis of the Mystery of Salvation, the Paschal Mystery of death and resurrection. It is the journey of Jesus Christ that came into the world and was resurrected. He became master of the history of mankind. I invite all the faithful, anyone who seeks Jesus Christ to welcome the King of the universe in their own life history."

This feast is also an occasion to remember the consecration of the Diocese of Montreal to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 2013. "Mary is the one who leads us to Jesus Christ," continues Archbishop Lépine, "We resorted to his maternal intercession to give us ever more attention to Jesus."
