Every minute, 31 people are forced to flee their homes because they fear for their lives & safety. In solidarity with forced migrants, Development and Peace – Caritas Canada is asking Canadians to walk 40,075 km, the equivalent of the circumference of the Earth and by walking you can help them reach that goal. A 3.1 km Solidarity Walk is planned for Saturday May 25, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, in NDG & Hampstead. The starting point is St. Monica’s Parish and ending point will be St. Malachy’s Parish.
